Eisai New Zealand Ltd is a member of Medicines New Zealand and as such supports transparency around the interactions between healthcare professionals and the pharmaceutical industry. The purpose of introducing disclosure of payments is to ensure that the interactions between Healthcare Professionals and the biopharmaceutical industry are better understood by the public of New Zealand. This disclosure leads to increasing trust and confidence in the community that any activities undertaken between the Healthcare Professionals and the medicines industry both support patient care and increase medical knowledge.
Reporting periods are based on calendar year and commenced 1 January 2021. Transparency reports are published within the first 6 months following the end of the previous reporting period.
